A third-generation contractor who grew up around residential and light construction projects, Matt joined Morgan Construction as a Project Manager in 2013. Matt studied Building Science at Auburn University and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BS in Engineering Management and an MS with concentration in Construction Management. Since coming on board at Morgan, he has managed major multi-phase renovations for institutional and senior health care, interior build outs, educational facilities, large retail, industrial, and new ground-up construction projects.

In his role as President, he is responsible for the creation and implementation of corporate strategy, business plan objectives, procedures, and organizational structure and also provides key management direction to vice presidents and the supervisory personnel, while motivating project managers to function as a cohesive team in all projects. Acting as the CFO, he maintains the integrity of the company's financial structure, but most importantly, Matt maintains ongoing client relationships and heads all business development functions.
